Statement of Practice:

I am a maker/researcher/thinker and painter/object maker/pseudo technologist and radical tender of interdependent forms. All descriptions that are both true and inadequate.

I use artmaking as a research methodology to follow my curiosities. It is only alongside the making & the thinking, the reading, the jotting of notes and a bit of writing that I find myself able to talk coherently about my praxis.

I make art that is iterative, materially and conceptually layered - abstracted and filled with details that reveal themselves with close attention. Where a collection of references distill into an artwork. When prompted to describe this venn diagram of things - I would include a lineage of abstract painting, feminism, speculative world-building, the way human and more than human beings and systems interact.

And also somewhere in all of this a deep sense that ontological delays and temporal misalignments can be expressed through an artmaking practice to express something about this, to help make a little bit of sense of it for myself and, i hope, you the person reading this statement.
